Here are some jewelry designs you'll find a bride or a married girl wearing- 1.Nath or Nose ring- this is the kind of jewelry worn by most of the Indian brides. It could be plain or simply studded with precious stones. You can get your left nose pierced to wear Nath. It can be worn in different styles like a nath having a long chain along with it that can hold it in place, while you tuck it into the hair, behind the ear. If in case your nose is not pierced and if you don't want to get it screwed, then there are nose rings that can be worn without taking so much pain. They have a spring attached to them which helps it press the nostril and stay fixed there. These look equally good. 2.Anklets and Toe Rings- In traditional Indian language, they are known as Payals and Bichuas. They add grace to your feet as they are adorned on your feet. They are made up of silver and are mostly worn by the married woman or girls who are getting married. They're sometimes used as fashion jewelry for girls these days. 3.Chudis/Kadas/Bangles- it is the sign of Indian woman. You'll not find any lady from the western culture wearing bangles like the Indian woman does. There are many designs, colors and styles in kadas and bangles. Kadas are broad bangles studded with stones and sometimes made up of gold or silver. 4.Wedding rings or rings- you can also term it as an engagement ring. In India, rings are not exchanged on the wedding day, but prior to the wedding day. Rings are designed in gold, kundan, diamond, silver and by other precious metals and stones. 5.Necklace and earrings- here it's not about the earrings for girls, but the earrings that come as matching for the precious necklace. Brides wear a necklace in gold, kundan, jadau, lac and many other jewelry styles with earrings that are designed especially for the set. 6.Armlet and Maang Tikka- armlet is worn a little above the elbow by the bride. However, it is more of a fashion jewelry than a must wear jewelry for a bride. 7.Mangalsutra- it's an auspicious thread worn by the ladies who get married. This symbolizes the love and attachment with which the husband and wife will remain attached forever. It is made up of gold with black beads and often has a pendant studded with precious stones or diamonds.
