According to the news, the central bank has been notified to the Central Bank of the gold exchange's research on spot options, and the plan for gold spot options trading has basically taken shape. It also stated that in mid-November, the Shanghai Gold Exchange will convene an 'international advisory meeting' with well-known foreign institutions to solicit opinions on the launch of domestic gold spot options. It is reported that as early as May this year, Shen Xiangrong, chairman of the Shanghai Gold Exchange, also expressed that he would consider launching gold spot options. He said that gold spot, options, and futures exchanges will promote each other, and their spreads will bring profit opportunities to investors.
